The retreat exceeded our expectations! This was the first time in a long time that we had 100% participation from the group. This speaks volumes to the level of expertise in facilitation.
As CEO of the Convalescent Aid Society, with a richly diverse staff and the clients we serve, I believe the lessons from California’s anti-harassment required training are key to our success. Several years ago, we gave up on the online training, and retained Diana to conduct the sessions live. We enjoy her style, which is interactive, engaging, and grounds the work in the law and history. We added Diversity, Equity and Inclusion training this year, which reinforced the need to respect our differences and to treat others with dignity and understanding. Her training encourages participation, which helps staff engage with the learning and retain the information.

As Chair of Pasadena Media, the nonprofit organization that facilitates, produces and promotes public service television, I recognized the need for an updated strategic plan. Really outstanding newsletter! I’ve already reposted your lead story (on opinions masquerading as facts). This topic should be required in a college unit that nearly every freshman should take. People miss the point that the quality of their leadership is often judged by how well they communicate.
